Brancaster Sailing Club – Platform lift
Challenge
The original Brancaster Sailing Club clubhouse was flooded by the tidal surge on 5 December, 2013 which resulted in severe structural damage. A decision was taken by members to raise funds to build a new one. We were approached by the main contractor, Mode Construction, to provide a competitive price and best option for a platform lift to be in installed in the Club’s new clubhouse.
Solution
A Midilift SL platform lift. This is suitable for one wheelchair user plus carer or up to 4 persons.
Results
The new lift blends well within the new clubhouse and means both levels are accessible to all.
